what people say
I have been fortunate to have worked with different people from around the world. It has been a great pleasure to have helped them!
"I have seen Gayo and participated in training sessions facilitated by her. She uses engaging techniques which allows strong participation. I found logical flow during her session conduction which made it very easy and clear for me to understand the topic in discussion. Witnessing her engagement with community people is a pleasure which brings field level expertise and enriches her facilitation. She is well aware of adult learning parameters and able to adjust plans and sessions to best meet the learning needs of the participants. I am sure she will be successful not only in conducting training but actually taking the participants one step further in the learning journey."

"Gayo has a rare combination of excellent skills as a master trainer in oral, written, interpersonal and public speaking communications. When she speaks, she literally ‘owns the stage’. With her amiable winsome personality, she has a way with people, including a genuine and caring interest especially in the young, injecting a lot of fun, humor, and games into all her teaching and training. Her special people skills are evident as she excels in her grassroots touch with people. Mentoring is second nature to her, given her genuine and caring interest in investing in people. She is very cross-culturally sensitive.

"I have witnessed her good skills in speaking specifically during training and workshops. Unlike other speakers who need to speak louder just to emphasize a certain point or message, she has her way of doing it that matches her approachable personality and soft but confident voice. She communicates creatively that surely fits with her audience, which leaves no option for them but to be attentive, listen and learn."
Alain M. Dizon, Trainer & Counselor | Batangas, Philippines
"Gayo’s strengths include her ability to stay focused and composed throughout the challenging tasks such as organizing regional workshop or training which involved participants from different countries with different cultures and requirements. She managed to do those challenging tasks with cheerful personality as well, and she connected people from different parts of the world in the planning as well as in the execution. Communication skills is certainly her strongest skills, as she handles public speaking or facilitating session with confidence and ease, and always managed to keep it light and fresh. I would be glad to hire Gayo again for our workshop, forum, or training in the future, and I will highly recommend her to other institutions or organizations."

"Gayo has been a positive driving force in my life. Her ability to communicate well and her command of the room has allowed her to share that good energy with others. This was why we asked her to host our wedding reception. That night would not have been so perfect if not for her. I'm glad that she is finally able to share the secret to her magic with the rest of the world."
Katrina Pia D. Angeles, Barrister and Solicitor | Alberta, Canada
"Gayo's rise to prominence in the areas of facilitation, seminar and workshop creation and implementation, has been nothing less than spectacular. I have seen Gayo, in a relatively short time, formulate and carry out a plan to transform a unit and the entire organization."
Cyrus Ongaki, Knowledge Management Consultant | Kenya
"Joining workshops and training conducted by Gayo had been a pleasure since they were not only informative but also entertaining. I had ample time to get new knowledge, meet new people and enjoy creative activities. Her sessions were interactive which made participants relaxed yet participative. Her events are usually very well organized – not only the sessions are arranged very well but also even the logistics for the accommodation, food choices and workshop materials!"
Rotha Prum, Technical Officer for Communicable Diseases and Epidemiology | Cambodia
“Gayo hosted our wedding reception 2 years ago and to this day, I am very much grateful that she was part of our special day. She knew how to put our guests at ease even in the most uncomforable situations (when one of our video presentations didnt work). Not to mention, she is also quite a natural at entertaining a crowd! Gayo set the tone for our easy going and fun reception and I am happy to see her pursue her dreams on an even grander scale.”
Cor Sunglao-Kho, Fashion Designer (www.corsunglao.com) | Mandaluyong, Philippines
"I used to think that most communication specialists or facilitators are very talkative. Gayo is different, she does not just talk but she listens. No wonder she is an insightful facilitator! She is good at putting together the diverse insights of the participants, turning it into a meaningful analysis. She is always passionate when she talks or facilitates, infecting others in the room with the same passion that she has."
Dr. Nay Htut Koko, Senior Research Manager | Myanmar
“I had chance to cooperate with her directly in a learning event in Bangkok in 2011 when she was one of workshop facilitators. Then in another workshop entitled ‘Health Communication and Documentation’ held in Cebu City, I met her again where she acted as a key facilitator. I highly appreciated her personal approaches to cooperate with others when she quickly got involved and shared in harmony with participants. Gayo always proves to be an enthusiastic and hardworking facilitator. She actively did additional duties of the workshops to support organizers. I have known her as a very nice and honest person. I highly recommend Gayo for your programs. With her skills and experiences, she will be extremely successful either as a trainer or facilitator of your trainings and workshops.”
Dr. Le Thi Thuy Nga, National Coordinator for HIV&AIDS | Vietnam
"I’ve seen Gayo do a lot of hosting gigs but the most recent one I’ve seen (and the most memorable!) was her gig as the emcee at our wedding. She’s a natural with the mic! But even when she makes it look so easy, the truth is—she prepares a lot before she takes on the stage. During our wedding, she made sure she was properly briefed days before the event -- whom were present, what types of subjects could she talk about, what types of things might interest the audience, how long should each segment be. She was with a co-emcee (my husband’s friend) whom she met only on that day (my fault!) yet they hit it off really well! I guess that’s the great thing with Gayo—she knows the script, but she makes sure to adapt well to the situation. As a co-emcee, she knew when to ride shotgun, or to take the wheel. She knows when to keep it serious, or when it’s appropriate to rouse the audience with her trademark humor. And the best part about Gayo is that she never hogs the spotlight…there’s nothing more awkward than to see a host do what seems to be an unintentional monologue—with him/her babbling about things no one cares to hear; because when Gayo hosts, she keeps the audience engaged in an informative and always-entertaining conversation."
